A small experiment to try out a Alberto Mielgo inspired style and finding a fitting workflow for it. Also trying out some sound design/foley stuff.
I took a picture of the boxes in my room, camera matched it, and projected it back onto some geometry. In Photoshop, I tried to remove most of the shadows, creating a super flat image. I then simplified certain parts and started to retexturize and draw over the image. In Redshift, I used some HDRI's to relight the scene in different moods. After Effects was used for some simple compositing and grading.
